Today the GIFT Team led the whole school in a Celebration of the Word about October being a very special month for Christians in remembering Our Mother Mary and saying the rosary.
The GIFT team shared the gospel of the Annunciation to Mary (based on the book of Luke). The whole school joined in with the Hail Mary Prayer and then the GIFT Team shared the exciting news of their competition running this month.
Children in Nursery – Y2 have a colouring in image of Mary with some text to trace next to her.
Children in Y3-Y6 have to use their imaginations and get creative by creating their own image of Mary.
Pupils are to hand their entries into their class teachers and the GIFT team will judge them for the winners. The winners will be announced in the final Friday assembly (22nd October) before we break up for the half term break.
Pob lwc to all the children who enter.
