Our school GIFT Team are a team of year 5 and year 6 pupils who dedicate themselves to find ways to improve prayer life in our school and promote the Catholic faith at St Joseph’s School. GIFT stands for ‘Growing in Faith Together’.
Some of the roles our GIFT Team have are:
• Opportunities to lead assemblies and celebrations of the word.
• Organise and take part in prayer clubs at lunch time.
• Becoming a prayer partner with the nursery children, teaching them how to pray.
• Reading and sharing Bible Stories.
• Being involved in the organising of charitable events – CAFOD, T4U Christmas Shoebox Appeal, Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal etc.
• Setting an Action Plan each term for what they hope to achieve in driving the school forward.
