We are getting some very positive feedback about our After School Clubs, from pupils, teachers and parents/carers. However, numbers attending remain quite low. Please spread the message that all children in Years 3-6 can attend as many clubs as they wish, as long as they get their school work done in the week before.
In Netball Club, Miss Jones says she has been really impressed with the skills on display but just needs a few more so we can get a team together. In Art Club, Miss Laing says she’s had good fun and in Choir, Miss Copp says she has the makings of a competition winning choir. At Football Club, Mr Roberts and Mr Wilkinson are enjoying their Friday afternoon workout- the latter may even turn up in appropriate kit next week.
In other news this week, children have been completing their Cymraeg Campus surveys to help us determine next steps to improve our whole school Cymraeg. Sadly, attendance was low again this week with Blwyddyn 3 the best class. Finally, we are working closely with Conwy Education and ESTYN to develop our Post Inspection Action Plan. Once this has been approved, we will share a summary of planned actions with parents and seek your input. As we await approval of the plan, please be assured we are already working very hard to address the issues identified in the report.
