Well, it’s been a really busy week before the half term break. Our Harvest Mass was a wonderful celebration – on behalf of the food bank, a huge thank you to all who donated. Some of our children got to visit and see how the food bank works. Year 3 were treated to a fantastic drum workshop from Conwy and Denbighshire Music Service. Years 3-6 had their final cricket session with Joe. I can honestly tell you the children have loved it, the staff have loved it and Joe loves it too. Thank you Joe and Cricket
Wales. There was baptism role play in church, careers related visits from a dentist and a physio, pumpkin soup and much much more. Diwrnod shwmae was a fantastic day in school to encourage starting conversations in Welsh – we sang, listened to Welsh music at lunch time and enjoyed a Welsh quiz. Finally, some children from Years 4 and 5 visited Pentre. They were a joy to be with as they tried their best, stuck at it and helped one another along. Massive thank you to Miss Laing, Mr Roberts and Miss Pitman for making it possible. Also, to Pentre staff for providing lifelong memories for young people over 60 years.
Thank you for your support this term. Please remember the Monday after half term is a Staff Training Day. We reopen on Tuesday 3rd November, when we will be holding our Parents Evenings.
